It's October!

It's October and I am really excited for fall and the coming holiday seasons! For some reason, I am more excited for Halloween this year. I think it's because Bailee is old enough now where she will know a little bit more of what's going on and have lots of fun wearing a costume and going trick or treating.
I am excited to make Jack-O-Lanterns! Eric and I usally print patterns off the internet and we have lots of fun seeing the final product. Not sure what we're going to do this year...I think a cat or a bat looks good on a Jack-O-Lantern, so maybe that will be mine. I'll have to take pictures when we actually make our Jack-O-Lanterns to show off our cutting skills ;)
I am excited to decorate!!! The only problem is college students=poor. So we'll see if I can get a few decorations this year but doesn't this door look so awesome?!?! I would love to do this on our door.
I thought these pancakes were cute and festive. I love breakfast food and since pancakes can be made so cheap and easy this one is a must.
I'm also excited for the costumes! I love seeing how creative people are with costumes. I have a pretty good idea of what Bailee is going to be for Halloween but I have no idea what Eric and I should be. I'm not even sure if we'll dress up but if you have any ideas, they are more then welcome.
P.S. I got the door and pancake idea from my friends blog called Sisters Stuff. I love her website. Her and her sister have the cutest ideas and great recipes. I have their link on my sidebar so go take a visit to their website and you'll find tons of ideas for Halloween.

I bet you could make those bats out of black cardstock. That would be cheap! I'm starting to feel like I should start decorating for Holidays since Kaylie is old enough to notice.

Kelli's idea for cardstock was cute. I saw your pic. and totally want to do that! I'd just use black construction paper then cover it in packing tape. Durable enough to last you this season. And cheap enough to toss. We keep 3M in business. You can make bats out of 2 handprints with Bailee too. Eden dug it last year. Or tissue paper with a rock in the middle then tied just under it for ghosts. You could take Bailee on a rock hunt(0: Happy Halloween!!! (Early) Love it(0:

You're probably most excited about Halloween b/c it's my BIRTHDAY....right? I know its true!!! :)
I love Halloween too (and not b/c its my b-day...though it's a good reason too) but b/c I LOVE to dress up. Remember when you came to Pocatello and we dressed up as fairies and went to the Institute dance? Fun times!
This year I'm going to be in Boise w/ my nephews and don't be jealous but Kallee & I are dressing up as Mario & Lugio (you know from Mario Brothers....the nintendo game) :) My nephews are stoked!
I just LOVE this time of year!
